If you're looking for a little respite from the throngs of people and excited children moving about EPCOT, look no further than GEO-82. It's a 21-and-up bar and lounge situated in the heart of Spaceship Earth. The lounge is filled with nostalgic design and elements that reference its host, all of which create a unique and unforgettable experience.

How Do I Get In?

This may seem trivial, but on my first visit we ended up walking all the way around Spaceship Earth trying to find the entrance. I think another guest must have flipped one of the outside signs and led us the wrong way. So you don't have the same experience, just go to the left/east side (if you are standing inside the park looking toward Spaceship Earth). Enter near where the #2 is on the map.

Design Elements

When you walk into GEO-82 you are immediately greeted by the same hexagonal patterns, bright lights, and slick surfaces you'd expect being part of Spaceship Earth. The ground floor has a small seating and waiting area where you will be greeted by a host. When ready, they will send you up the stairs (or the elevator if you need it) and into another small waiting area.

I highly suggest you take a few moments and look around these waiting areas. Everything here, including the floors, have been meticulously designed in accordance with the space-theme of Spaceship Earth. The carpets all have the same pattern as the skin of Spaceship Earth. Several walls have panels that are in the same vein. There are space themed murals throughout. The furniture is even designed in a retro futuristic style.

The Menu

Being a 21-and-up lounge, GEO-82 primarily serves alcoholic drinks and a few side dishes to pair with them. Don't expect a full meal here – unless you tend to fill up on appetizers. What you can expect are themed cocktails, bourbons, and a nice selection of wine.

When I last visited, my group shared the Artisanal Cheese, Meats, and Accompaniments plate. The selection of meats and cheeses was delicious and paired well with the drinks we got.

Overall Review

After visiting for the fireworks show during my last Disney World trip, I can safely say that I highly recommend GEO-82 if you have time. If you can manage it, I would even more strongly recommend booking for the fireworks show. The view was incredible and the atmosphere inside rivaled to the beauty of the show outside.
